Please remember to monitor your child for COVID-19-like symptoms prior to leaving home to ensure they are not sick or have an elevated temperature above 100. Students with elevated temperatures or COVID-19 symptoms should remain home, and parents should contact the MHS attendance office @ ext. 232.

 Attendance

Please call our attendance hotline to report your child’s absence @ 760-934-8145 ext.232. If your child’s absence is not reported, it is unexcused.

Tickets will go on sale THIS FRIDAY (January 20th) on give butter and also Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch! Look for the QR codes around the school to pay online.

“There will be a meeting for a new club called Husky Clean Up Crew on January 31st at 3:15 in Ms. Chang’s classroom, this club will participate and earn volunteer hours in town clean-up events”

The first meeting for Mechatronics, an engineering club has changed to Thursday, JANUARY 26th during lunch. This is because ASB meets Wednesday.

The club will meet in Mr. Simeon’s class, SPA room H

If you are interested in learning about engineering and developing real-world skills in electrical and mechanical engineering please come or let Mr. Simeon know you are interested. Signs are up around the school for details.

Girls Who Code will be having their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, January 25th, after school at 3:15  in the CTE room/computer lab. Hanna and Brice, two professionals in the computer science field are back to facilitate. Girls Who Code is an International Organization that was established to inspire more girls to enter the computer science and engineering field, but boys are welcome to attend the meetings and participate in the club as well. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Okamoto.

 

Students who ride the red bus home, Please walk to the Middle School to catch the bus home, this is until further notice. The bus will not be coming to MHS for pick-up.
