Student Handbook
Welcome to Mammoth High School. It is our hope that you have a happy and worthwhile experience with us. Elevating your experience with us depends on how you handle your rights and responsibilities as a student. You have many rights, including the right to learn, to participate, to be treated with respect, and to be an integral part of our school. With these rights come responsibilities such as the responsibility to study, to exhibit good manners and be considerate of others, to respect other people and school property, and to be the best you can be.
This handbook provides information about rules, policies, academic requirements, extra-curricular and athletic eligibility policies, and students’ privileges and responsibilities. Students and parents should become very familiar with the contents of both the student handbook and the MHS Course Catalog. The contents of these two documents will help provide students with the tools to be successful at Mammoth High.
We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing learning environment in which all students and staff thrive. A healthy, safe, and engaging campus is our top priority.
As you look through our handbook, please consider getting involved in one of the many activities at MHS. Whether it is athletics, music, leadership, or any of the many other opportunities, students who are involved in extracurricular activities are typically more connected and academically more successful in school.
We wish you the best for the 2026-2027 school year. The teachers, staff, and administration at MHS are here for you. Please reach out if you need any assistance.
Thank you for being part of the Husky Family!
