Who is Summer School for?
Summer School is for students who need additional credits for high school graduation or need to retake a college prep or higher class.
How do I know if I need to take a summer school class?
There are two ways to find out if you need to take a summer school class. You can log in to Aeries and check your transcript. If you have a D or F in any academic class, you need to take summer school.

How do I enroll in Summer School?
If you would like to take a summer school class this summer, please fill out the Summer School Enrollment Form.
What can I expect this year in Summer School?
Summer School will be ALL ONLINE this year, through Apex. Students will be working on their classes independently.
How many classes can I take during the summer?
Students can only take one class at a time.
Is there a limit to how many classes I can take over the summer?
For Credit Recovery, there is no limit to how many classes a student completes over the summer. However, students can only take one class at a time.
Original Credit is only offered to incoming Freshman needing to take Health or World Geography. Original Credit students can only take two courses over the summer, one at a time.
What is I do not have a computer or laptop?
If you do not have a device, please contact Lisa Okamoto at lokamoto@mammothusd.org to sign up for one. IPads will not work with Apex.
What happens if I do not finish my class by July 24th?
You will not receive credit or a grade for the class.
